*Date in, or date of list where name is first shown.

#Date out, or date of list on which name did not reappear: 
	some single ladies may therefore appear on later lists under married name.  
	When a new list commenced with members in order of seniority, 
	where only one lady of that Christian name on previous list, 
	it has been assumed she had changed surname.  

Post- and pre- dates: these determined in some instances by change in handwriting of different pastors.

Where members rejoined, they will have two dates shown.  
Where it was not possible to determine if second of same name was one and same person, 
the entry will appear twice.  
In some pastorates, record keeping was not a high priority: members disappeared from lists, 
reappeared many years later with their original joining date shown.

Dispute of 1839-41: various members resigned or were excluded.

Dispute of 1859: large number of members either resigned or were excluded 
		   (church book showed “excluded” for those who resigned).

Dispute of 1901 resulted in closure of Church for 15 months to 1903.

Names in the general church minutes, on the 1850 pew rent lists, and 1880/1 subscriptions lists, 
which do not appear on lists of members have not been included in the above list.  
Anyone searching for individuals should also consult these lists in the Church Book.  
None of the lists provides addresses of members, and it should be noted that some entries 
do not include any given names.
