7 October 1854 in the Minute Book of the Reformatory it is recorded that Dwyer and Dowd [boy 40], two boys who were lately taken to London by Mr Ellis, with the hope of their getting to sea, have absconded, and it is the impression of the Committee that they have gone to a sea port.
2 January 1855 in is recorded in the Minute Book that Dwyer is in prison.
