3 June 1881 William Mee calls this day and gives a good account of himself. He tells me that he has been for 6 years in the 2nd Battalion of the14th Regiment is now discharged and is in the Reserve force. His present address is 3 St Davids Place, Bissell Street, Birmingham. He has seen Palmer who is working in a baker's shop in Smallbrook Street, Birmingham. See boy 406 [Martin Palmer]
